Ten remote indigenous communities in the Northern Territory have been transformed from pure diesel energy grids to hybrid solar, battery and diesel mini grids. The Kaltukajara Solar Farm is just one of the plants built by Territora Civil Civil who selected 3.3 MW of Yingli Solar's 315 W YGE 72 Cell panels to provide the renewable power to these mini grids as part of the Solar Energy Transformation Program (SETuP) co-funded by the Australian Renewable Energy Agency (ARENA) and Northern Territory government.
